What a happy and beautiful newborn.  It’s usually hard to capture the personality at a newborn session, but baby E had plenty to share – and lots of smiles to show the world.  She’s too advanced for her 4 week age – her gaze and eye contact with me was just amazing.  To say I was smitten is understatement.

What a teeny tiny precious little girl.  A proud big brother who is ready to read to her, play with her and I take care of her.  Parents overjoyed and full of love.  It’s an honor to document this little miracle in her first week in this world.  Can you believe her hair!?!!  She’ll have pigtail by 6 weeks…love it!

This was an extra special session for me.  Almost exactly 2 years ago, I was honored to capture baby A…my first ever newborn.  Two years later, she’s a vibrant little girl, who, along with her big brothers, welcomed a new baby sister.  It’s even more special that we are all close friends.  My girls light up when it’s time to visit…and all their teddies have now been appropriately named after the newest addition (middle name and all).

I thought it was going to be a challenge to get all 4 kids to look at me, especially a newborn – and I would have settled for 3 out of 4.  But they all cooperated soooo well, I actually had many to choose from!

I can go on and on, but I know most are skipping over to the photos…so here they are:

I met baby D’s parents a couple of months ago when I did their maternity session.
You wouldn’t know they are first time parents – they handled him like seasoned pros! He’s so adorable and has the most kissable lips, and cutest wavy hair. Just like the last few newborns I’ve captured, he was sooooo good. I am seriously getting spoiled. Thanks, baby D, for being such a great model!

What a sweet little baby girl, Miss E is. Even at 3+ weeks old, she did a great job sleeping and cooperating with me. I think even her parents were pleasantly surprised. She was the perfect little model. You can really feel the love in their home, and it was a pleasure for me to meet them and capture their beautiful daughter. I can’t wait to work on the rest of the set!

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving weekend. I know I have a lot to be thankful for this year, one of which are my very awesome clients!

I promised I would be better about keeping this blog updated, and I am going to try and catch up with a few recent sessions.

I’ll start with this seriously handsome 10 day old newborn. I love his cheeks, his fuzzy head, those kissable lips, and tiny toes. He was probably my easiest & sleepiest newborn to date. Here’s a little teaser for mom and dad…

Technically we were in Indiana for this session – just across the bridge from Louisville. My extended family keeps growing, and I am honored to capture another one, and welcome him to the family!
Baby L was just over a week old when I got my hands on him, and he was a perfect little gentleman…well except for a little accident that I think traumatized his parents, and had 3 adults (aunt included) scurrying around the house for cleaners and sanitizers. Best part – he still slept through the entire ordeal. And we won’t tell biggest-Yankees-fan-aka-grandpa which “special” blanket prompted that scene.

So without further ado, please meet my super cute nephew-in-law-in-law, and red’s brand new cousin

A house full of girls is now more complete with baby A. She is, without doubt, as beautiful as her older sisters, and at the tender age of 12 days, already had her own agenda. She had no interest in sleeping, and her mom told me she kept it up for a good 4 hours even after I left. Just check out those gorgeous big eyes, delicate fingers, cute little smile, and beautiful dark hair. Love it!

Baby S, awake and alert at 7 weeks old and oh so spoiled already! She’s happiest in mom’s or dad’s arms, preferably jamming to AC/DC. What a precious cutie pie with gorgeous eyes. I just love all the different expressions she showed me – even though some of them show her tough, feisty side I am saving my fave sleepy ones for the full gallery.

I had the pleasure of meeting the L family today. What a beautiful family. I have to start with the big sister. R is mommy’s helper, stunning, and so polite. Her new brothers are lucky to have a great big sis like her!
The boys are 18 days old, and as most twins, did the opposite of the other. When one slept the other was wide awake. They made me work for those together shots, but they are as cute as can be.
